Meredith's Birthday Party

This past Saturday we celebrated another birthday. Meredith turned three! Emily was so excited about her party...that she opened Meredith's present for her!



Lucky for us, she expressed her curiosity before we arrived at Meredith's house and we were able to re-package Meredith's gift!

AJ's new growth!

There was lots of talk about our cousin AJ this week! Last Sunday he asked Jesus to come into his heart! His Daddy had the privilege of baptizing him! Check out the Pierce blog for More!

Alyssa's Birthday Party

Last week, we helped our friend Alyssa celebrate her second birthday! We had a great time!




Emily was happy to wish Alyssa a happy birthday but even happier to dip into her cupcake!





Christian is getting introduced to our Mommy Group friends and enjoying every minute of it! Here he is with sweet Caroline!~



We had such a good time at Alyssa's birthday party that we invited her over to play the very next day! Well...actually, we bit Alyssa as we were leaving Mommy Group and wanted to make peace. Emily played much nicer the second time around. We are so very blessed to have the friends we do. Alaina, the Mommy you see holding both Alyssa and Emily, was very gracious about the whole thing! Thank You Alaina for being understanding!




Christian enjoyed hi sown little play group with his new buddy Johnathan! They are about two months apart

New Growth

Here is Emily with her Papa. Once again they are together on Tuffy!



Here is a picture of Emily reading to her brother. This past week, Christian went for a check up to the doctor. He is weighing in at a whopping 17 pounds 8 ounces! He is doing all kinds of new things. He pulls our his pacifier, laughs when you tickle him and he is playing with the bells and whistles on his exersaucer! He will be four months next Sunday! Emily and Christian are currently wearing the same diapers!

Recently Kevin and I have seen new growth in Emily as well. She has really begun to show an interest in Christian. Wanting to hold him, read to him...really to love him. This has blessed our hearts greatly! We rejoice in her embracing her brother and pray that this is just the beginning of a special friendship!

Last Week

Our week was crazy! But it started out with laughter!




and cuteness~!








On Monday, Kevin started running a 102.4 temperature. I had prepared two meals for friends and had dishes left in the sink..which I knew I would get to after dinner. I never made it! When we got home I made Kevin change clothes and we headed to my parents house. (I know they are so glad we are so close! )



We ended up spending the night so I could have help with Emily and Christian while I took care of Kevin. In the middle of it all, Christian was finishing up an antibiotic and both of them were finishing breathing treatments with a nebulizer.

Monday night, Kevin slept in the guest bedroom and I got to sleep between my two sweeties in the study (on the floor!).

Tuesday, we got up early to start working on paperwork. Kevin and I are in the process of looking at a house!



Mom canceled her bunco group to help us with the process of paperwork and recovering from sickness. She is a true trooper she kept Emily entertained and happy!





Wednesday, the kids and I traveled to Moultrie to plan a photo session for the kids this week. Did I mention we got terribly lost?

Thursday we went to Mommy Group for the firs time in a long time! We saw two new babies, Anna and Jonathan. Our group is growing!

We also celebrated our anniversary this week ( we went to LIAMS!), visited with my Aunt Aggie



got some new shoes!





ate some ice cream




and did our taxes, yes thats right...we did our taxes in August! (this was a very sad part of our week by the way!)


Saturday we went to the library and the farmers market,



I held Christian..



while Kevin and Emily colored and...



played!



for lunch we enjoyed spaghetti!


Who knows what next week will hold!

but just like Emily...


We are going to dive right in!
