Christians New Outfit

This is our handsome little man in his new outfit! I am not sure he will get to many more opportunities to wear this one at the rate he is going!

A Saturday Morning Date

After our rough night, we did some housework this morning. I sent Kevin and Emily on an errand to get a birthday present. This is the handsome couple before they set out on their journey.

I stayed home to get ready!

Last night was a challenge! We got Emily down at 9:30pm. Next we had Christian asleep at 10pm. Emily was up at 11pm. I got back in bed at 12am. Christian woke up at 2:30am. I got back in bed at 3:30am. Emily woke up at 4:30am and got in bed with Mommy and Daddy. She conversed with two irritable parents for about an hour about dogs, water and trains. Right about the time she was falling asleep (5 am) her brother woke up. At 6 am I made a pot of coffee and slipped out of bed to have some time alone. At 7 am this is how I found them. One day I know we will all laugh about this! God is good because I am fondly remembering the night even now. Children are a blessing!

We recently purchased a new bistro table for our back patio. We have all enjoyed the chance to sit out on the back porch. This was yesterday morning, Kevin took the kids on the back porch to eat breakfast!

Just Like Daddy

When Emily grows up she wants to be just like Daddy!

Mornings

Before kids Kevin and I use to sit in bed and talk about everything! Things have changed now and we aren't quite as able to carry on conversations. We tend to run into a few distractions!

Christian doesn't know what to make of his crazy new family! He's just trying to get some shut eye!

Kevin is Surviving

Kevin has been so wonderful through all of our transitions! He has been a great help and I would go crazy without him!

Baby Christian

Our little man Christian is holding his own. This week we went for his 1 month check up. He is now weighing 11 pounds 8 ounces! This is one evening after dinner. I have been trying really hard to get him on a schedule. I have enlisted many willing and some not so willing volunteers to help keep him awake after dinner so he sleeps long and hard at night!

Naptimes for Emily

Before Christian came, this was the chair Emily and I use to sit in and read together before a nap. Things have changed now. One morning, when trying to get ready, Emily wanted to read Good Night Moon. We began to read with brother and both of my babies fell fast asleep!

Then there are the afternoons. I use to take Emily upstairs. Close the blinds, turn out the lights and we would read. Now, it is not unusual for Emily to fall asleep while I get Christian ready for his afternoon nap. She has chosen many interesting locations to fall asleep!

This is the new glider we got for brother. Emily thought she would try it out!

today we made a visit to the pediatric center. baby christian weighed in at 10 pounds 7 1/2 ounces! his sister was only 21 pounds! sounds like emily is on her way to getting a big brother!
