Christy's blog for the fourth said it was ridiculous the amount of luggage she had to carry from Opelika to Thomasville for a two day trip. I think we had her beat. We traveled across town for a day at The McMillans and we had four bags and a lunch box! Christian didn't know what to make of us!
Look at these two proud Daddys! Ian is 9 months and Christian is 2! They look about the same size!
Kevin enjoyed the opportunity to be a kid. I don't know who had more fun the kids or him. But I will say this...the next morning, I had to give him a back rub. Those kids wore him out!
After swimming there was time to read. AJ was the instructor.
Grandma stepped in to read the kids a few stories.
But Emily got bored and resorted to some physical activity. I swear we didn't teach her this at home~!
Next we all headed off to watch the fireworks. We found a cozy place to set up camp in the Publix parking lot. Summer told me she was proud of me. We totally abandoned our schedule and the kids and I were out until 10 o'clock! Both kids slept thru the night this night!
Christian was with us off and on but Emily had a blast!
Christy and Abigail enjoyed some quality time together. I think this is a great picture!
Emily took her Mommy on a couple of journeys. Twice we ended up at Publix. No shopping agenda. Emily just wanted to ride in the car and walk around.
Kennan, WIll, Brennan, Summer and Ian all joined us to watch the show.
