This year Emily dressed up like a little cow girl! she was so cute! her baby brother dressed up as a baby duck (hand me down from last year!) and mommy and daddy even played the part. yep you guessed it...we were cowboys and cowgirls!
Emily is recently in a new stage of life where she likes things her way. I wonder where she gets that from? Ha Ha! (those of you who know me well enough...know exactly where she gets it from!) You'll notice in this picture above she doesn't look very happy. This is because she wanted mommy to wear the hat daddy is sporting! Yes we have to be very strategic these days about how we present things to her. Bath time and outings have become very interesting to say the least! I have to sneak into her room while she is in the bath tub and lay out two outfits for her to choose from so she doesn't end up pulling out her entire wardrobe!
Thankfully Emily did eventually lighten up and enjoy her evening.
Perhaps the highlight of her evening was a surprise visit from Papa~!
