We tried having both grandparents over as we did with Emily. Christian thought all of this was great! He was enjoying the entertaining...
Until he got a taste of the rice cereal! Not quite what he was expecting...nor I! Emily took to the cereal like she had been looking for it all her days! Her little mouth opened wide with the first bite and every one since then! But Christian had other plans...
He decided it would be more fun to feed it to himself!
We tried several bites only to face rejection time and time again.
We did however use the occasion as an opportunity to have a bonfire and smores!
We even got Grandma & Pa out there with us!
I continued my saga of trying to get Christian to eat without much success until one morning I realized the one consistent variable was that I was feeding him. SO....I made the oatmeal a little thick and put it on the tray for him to have at it....
and what can I say...it worked! It only required a bath afterwards!
